About Alana
Alana is a Solicitor in the Corporate team.
Originally from London after moving to Manchester and training with national firm Knights plc she gained invaluable experience in the Commercial Real Estate, Banking and Corporate teams and went on to qualify into the Corporate team in April 2023
Alana has experience in assisting on M&A matters acting both buy and sell side, general corporate governance and reorganisations for companies as well as assisting on Private Equity transactions acting again, for both the investors and management teams.
This variety of work has also seen Alana acting on transactions across a large number of industries including professional services, technology/software, logistics, sports, hospitality and healthcare with a specific focus on retail pharmacies in this sector.
Some examples of transactions Alana has assisted on are:
- Acting for the management team of an accountancy firm during their initial private equity investment process;
- Acting buyside in the acquisition of an English National League Football Club;
- Acting for the management team on the investment and establishment of a new Manchester restaurant which joined the Michelin guide just three months following its opening; and
- Acting both buy and sell side in over thirty retail pharmacy transactions.
Alana likes to approach matters collaboratively with an emphasis on trying to make the Corporate environment a much more approachable and positive experience for clients.
