About Eleanor
Eleanor is a 2021 University of Liverpool Law LLB with Honours graduate and an aspiring solicitor. During her time at University, Eleanor chose to tailor her learning towards subjects that aligned with her passions; Family and Child Law.
Eleanor represented her University in an International Children’s Rights Moot Court Competition hosted by Leiden University in the Netherlands, in which she debated a fictitious human and child rights scenario to a panel of senior legal academics from across the world.
Eleanor has also worked on projects with the University’s Law Clinic, including their Asylum & Immigration Statelessness Service, as well as being a board member of the Women Breaking Barriers Network; a group committed to inspiring and connecting future women leaders.
The majority of her work as a paralegal at McAlister Family Law involved acting on behalf of the Local Authority in childcare matters concerning neglect, non-accidental injury and domestic and substance abuse, most specifically within pre-proceedings and care proceedings. She also has experience representing parents within care proceedings before the Family Court.
Eleanor has since secured her training contract with the Group and is currently sitting within the commercial team of Beyond Corporate, the specialist corporate and commercial practice of the Group.
