About Anne
Anne is an associate working in the Family department at McAlister Family Law, having worked in the team for several years. Her main role is to represent parents and the Local Authority in public and private law Children Act proceedings. Anne has worked within this field for over 25 years, working throughout her career in Manchester City Centre during which time she has acquired a particular interest in the challenging arena of cases of domestic abuse.
Anne is frequently asked to attend Public Law Outline Meetings (PLO) or a pre-proceedings meetings, where she represents the parents concerned in such cases. She has an in-depth understanding of eligibility for legal aid.
Due to her extensive knowledge, expertise and experience Anne is also involved in both pre-proceedings, and care proceedings, acting on behalf of the Local Authority. Anne deals with various types of cases including neglect, NAI, discharge of care orders, Special Guardianship and adoption.
