About Charlotte
Charlotte recently graduated from the University of Manchester with an LLB (Hons).
She took on this role to gain practical legal experience with the ambition to become a qualified family law solicitor. Charlotte considers family law the most rewarding aspect of law.
As her mother was a primary school teacher and her grandmother a child protection social worker, Charlotte grew up listening to discussions and debates about child welfare matters, this is where her interest in family law started to develop.
This interest was affirmed by attending talks by solicitors at her school’s law society, as well as shadowing family solicitors during her work experience and attending a lecture on the misuse of section 20 of The Children’s Act. This passion continued with her volunteer work with children.
Charlotte also worked as a paralegal at Keoghs Solicitors LLP in the costs department, where she assisted fee earners by monitoring and updating the computer systems in order to progress case activity and work towards settlements.
