It also enables us to bring through our junior lawyers and ensures that we have consistently strong service levels at all levels within the team. We are delighted to be seeing the team strengthened by the appointment and looking forward to continue working with Mark in his new position.”
The Group’s specialist family and children law practice, McAlister Family Law, sees the promotion of senior associate Nicola McDaid to partner, who becomes the ninth female partner to be appointed in the Group. Beyond Law Group’s specialist conveyancing practice, Beyond Conveyancing sees the promotion of solicitor Stephanie Nield to associate.
Sarah Edwards, Partner and Head of Beyond Conveyancing, comments on Stephanie’s promotion: “Stephanie has played a crucial role in the development of the Group’s Conveyancing practice since its recent launch and particularly as workloads continue to increase, which we believe to be due to our distinct high-quality offering which is focused on exceptional client service and engagement.
Steph is also an absolute delight to work with and the promotion is a testament to her development within Beyond Conveyancing and the wider Group. The promotion also enables us to plan for the future and shape the career development of our team. It is thoroughly deserved and is a testament to the commitment of our people.”
The promotions come shortly after Beyond Law Group recently announced it has offered training contracts to four of its talented paralegals, sending a clear message that it is focused on career development and creating a strong, supportive and nurturing environment for its people.
Beyond Law Group, which was established in 2017, prides itself on developing and nurturing its own talent and only accepts training contract applications from internal candidates. The Group is also keen to facilitate new pathways to careers in law and break down the barriers to entry, and as such currently sponsors four apprentices, who again – were all internal candidates.
Beyond Law Group has gone from strength to strength, with its innovative business structure and modern people-focused outlook. The Group has created an inspiring working environment that is becoming increasingly attractive for client and service-focused teams and individuals who want to work in and with a positive engaged and dynamic legal business.
Matt Fleetwood, Chief Executive and Founder of Beyond Law Group, said: “We are delighted to be able to announce the promotions of Mark, Nicola, Melissa, Therasa, Heather, George and Stephanie. These promotions are very well deserved. We are proud to see each of them progress their careers with the Group and we celebrate their commitment and success.

The great service that we can provide to our clients is only possible due to the hard work, talent and personality of the people we have within the Group. They are together creating their own cohesive culture within the Group and this is becoming even more critical as we embark on our next phase of strategic growth.”
