Team Beyond has only just started. We are still a tight knit group of fewer than 100 people, growing specialist law firms and doing quality work. We want our businesses to stay around and have meaning for our people, and so we work hard to make sure people feel they belong and are part of our journey.

We offer competitive salaries and benefits but we also give generous bonuses to teams and individuals who stand out, don’t just do the job in hand, and live and breathe our culture. We are also focused on the welfare of our people and their families as we see ourselves in the trench with them – not just in the workplace but also in life. And it’s good to surprise people sometimes – we’re pretty good at it.
We consider ourselves privileged, and are proud of what we do, but we also consider ourselves lucky and not everyone’s journey is the same. We do a lot of community work and encourage our teams to get involved in supporting the initiatives and causes that we sponsor, whether it is mentoring young people who live challenging lives, or ensuring that we volunteer in our local communities.
We work together and play together. We organise events but we also sense when teams need some spontaneous social time together and the occasional blow out, and we support all of the social and sporting initiatives our teams want to do. It is part of the social contract and part of our return for our people. We also have a drink together late Friday afternoon with all of the teams – no matter where we are.
Your office is your hardware and everybody, no matter what their job specification, has the best and same ability to work anywhere, with ease: no matter how much we like the office environment, we know that sometimes productivity is improved when people work remotely and with more flexibility.
