Beyond Law Group continues to support its talent at all levels as it announces its 2025 promotions list
Beyond Law Group has announced a record number of internal promotions across its specialist legal practices – McAlister Family Law, Beyond Corporate Law, Home Property Law and Vault Private Client – reflecting its commitment to nurturing talent and rewarding outstanding performance. A total of nine individuals have been promoted, the highest number in the Group’s history, alongside the award of five training contracts to internal paralegals earlier in the year, demonstrating the Group’s long-term investment in the next generation of legal professionals.
Within McAlister Family Law, six talented legal professionals have been promoted, including Jessica Horsman, Therasa Kenney and Paul Reay, who step into roles as Associate Partners. Their promotions highlight not only their dedication to clients and the team, but also their deep legal expertise. In addition, Heather Lucy has been promoted to Senior Associate, with Agata Napora and Nicola Bradley advancing to Associates – a testament to the breadth of emerging talent within the practice.
Beyond Corporate Law has also seen key promotions, with Angeliki Kotsidou becoming Associate Partner and Molly Hackett promoted to Associate. Both have been instrumental in the practice’s ongoing growth and client success, demonstrating the high calibre of legal expertise and commitment the Group is proud to champion.
Meanwhile, Home Property Law celebrated the promotion of Cordelia Grassby to Partner – a significant achievement that recognises her leadership and exceptional contribution to the business.
This year’s promotions reflect Beyond Law Group’s strong focus on empowering underrepresented demographics within the legal profession. The promotion of a significant number of women and younger professionals into senior roles is a clear demonstration of the Group’s drive to challenge industry norms and create more opportunities for those demographics who have historically been underrepresented. By recognising and advancing talent from diverse backgrounds, the Group continues to build a legal community that better reflects the society it serves.
Speaking on the promotions, Matt Fleetwood, Founder and Chief Executive of Beyond Law Group, said: “These promotions are a clear reflection of our belief in recognising the talent, ambition and dedication of our people. We have always been committed to creating an environment where everyone can progress and thrive. I’m particularly proud that, as a result of these latest promotions, 75% of our leadership team is now female – a powerful demonstration of our commitment to diversity, inclusion and empowering underrepresented voices in the legal industry.”
James Corlett, Managing Partner of Beyond Corporate Law, added: “We’ve built our success on the quality of our people, and I’m incredibly proud to see both Angeliki and Molly progress in their careers. Their work ethic, intelligence and client focus make them key to the future of the practice, and their promotions are hugely deserved.”
Amanda McAlister, Managing Partner of McAlister Family Law, said: “ I’m incredibly proud of the exceptional individuals within McAlister Family Law who have been recognised in this year’s promotions list. Each one has shown an unwavering commitment to our clients and demonstrated the empathy, resilience and legal excellence that define our practice. Their progression reflects the strong team culture we’ve built and our shared dedication to achieving the very best outcomes for families.”
Beyond Law Group’s continued focus on recognition, career development and diversity sets it apart in the legal sector – creating a truly supportive environment where talent is nurtured, potential is realised and hard work is always rewarded.
