Beyond Law Group announces the appointment of new Legal Director, Nicola Knappett, to the commercial team of its specialist corporate and commercial practice, Beyond Corporate.
Beyond Law Group’s leading corporate and commercial practice, Beyond Corporate, has appointed Nicola Knappett to its highly specialist commercial team, enabling the team to enhance its expertise across a range of sectors including retail, technology, food and drink, healthcare and manufacturing.
The appointment follows the most successful year to date for Beyond Law Group and its award-winning practices. Beyond Corporate’s commercial team, headed up by ex Fieldfisher partner, James Corlett, who was recently promoted to Managing Partner of Beyond Corporate, is establishing itself very quickly as a go to commercial team for many well-known regional, national and international clients.
In line with James’ vision for growth for Beyond Corporate and the wider Group, the team continues to grow in size and expertise, with Commercial Solicitor Molly Hackett qualifying into the commercial team in March 2024, and the appointment of Nicola as Commercial Legal Director in April 2024.
Prior to joining the Group, Nicola spent over 20 years working both in private practice and primarily in-house for a variety of clients, from start-ups to global PLCs in a range of different sectors. Nicola has now returned to her roots in private practice, bringing with her a unique and valuable perspective of commercial realism when advising on business strategies and transactions, with a particular specialism in the technology sector.
Nicola was previously nominated as Best In-House Counsel in the North West due to her practical focus and ability to deliver complex advice in a succinct way.
