Beyond Law Group has announced it has offered training contracts to five of its talented paralegals. Charlotte Proctor, Davina Mordanti, Millie Brookes, Tom Jones and Tunisha Kumar will be starting their training contracts with Beyond Law Group in March 2025.
Beyond Law Group, founded in 2017, has steadily established itself as a trailblazer within the legal industry, distinguishing itself through its forward-thinking approach to the development of young talent. With a unique and unwavering commitment to cultivating homegrown talent, the Group is pleased to announce that it has offered five of its talented paralegals with training contracts as part of its 2025 cohort: Charlotte Proctor, Davina Mordanti, Millie Brookes, Tom Jones, and Tunisha Kumar.
At the heart of Beyond Law Group’s ethos is its dedication to fostering loyalty and growth from within. This philosophy is reflected in the firm’s distinctive approach to recruitment: exclusively offering training contract opportunities to internal candidates. By prioritising internal progression, the Group ensures that the individuals selected are already deeply aligned with the company’s values and have a proven track record of loyalty and commitment within the business, with the aim of retaining all trainees and offering roles in their chosen area of expertise.
The Group has set a leading example by launching a series of innovative employee development and mentoring initiatives, with a primary focus on nurturing and advancing the careers of its young professionals. Beyond Law Group is also keen to facilitate new pathways to careers in law and as such currently sponsors two apprentices – who again, were internal candidates.
The Group’s business structure sets it apart from traditional law firms. Beyond Law Group operates under a cohesive, modern framework, overseeing a portfolio of three specialist legal practices: Beyond Corporate, McAlister Family Law and Home Property Law.
Over the next two years, the five successful candidates will embark on a comprehensive and hands-on journey, gaining invaluable experience across all three award-winning practices. This unique opportunity will allow them to collaborate with leading professionals across a range of legal disciplines, ensuring a well-rounded development experience.
Matt Fleetwood, Beyond Law Group’s Founder and Chief Executive, said: “At Beyond Law Group, we believe that true success is built on a foundation of both talent and loyalty. This belief is reflected in our commitment to offering training contracts exclusively to internal candidates, as we recognise the value of nurturing and investing in the talent we already have within the business.
We understand the significance of these early career steps for our young people, and the responsibility we bear in supporting their growth and development is something we do not take lightly. The future of these individuals is in our hands, and I am deeply proud of the remarkable talent that exists within Beyond Law Group. Our commitment to their success is resolute, and I am confident that they will continue to thrive and contribute meaningfully to the future of our firm and the legal profession as a whole.”
Successful candidate, Davina Mordanti, adds: “For all five of us to receive training contracts is an incredible milestone and truly speaks volumes about how deeply committed the senior leadership team are to fostering and empowering the next generation of talent within the Group. Their dedication to supporting young professionals is evident in every aspect of the Group’s operations, and this gesture is a testament to their belief in us and our potential.”
