About Matt
I am an IT Executive at Beyond Law Group. My role is extremely diverse. It includes providing general IT support, application development and software training, and developing and delivering efficiency driven workflows to the Group.
Before becoming an IT Executive, I worked as a fee earner in the Group’s subsidiary, Beyond Corporate Limited, having joined the firm in October 2017 as a Senior Corporate Paralegal. Prior to this, I worked as a paralegal at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, in the Legal Support Centre in Manchester. I was amongst the first intake of paralegals to join the Legal Support Centre, following its establishment in 2015, and played an integral part in helping to build work processes, still used by the Legal Support Centre to this day.
I use my fee earner knowledge and experience to help develop the Group’s technology infrastructure, and to create solutions that would help streamline traditional legal workflows.
In April 2022 I was shortlisted for the ‘Young Digital and Tech Professional of the Year’ award at the North West Young Professional Awards.
