We were delighted to sponsor the East Cheshire Hospice Fashion on the Edge event in Alderley Edge, raising funds for a very worthy cause.
The hospice does incredibly valuable work for our local community. Since 1988, East Cheshire Hospice has been caring for people suffering from life-limiting illnesses. It puts patients, their carers and their families at the centre of everything it does, and its expert medical treatment is only one aspect of the holistic care it provides.
Supported by more than 100 staff and 600 volunteers, the hospice cares for a 200,000 strong community, covering Buxton, Congleton, High Legh, High Peak, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Poynton, Wilmslow and everywhere in between.
Many of it patients are suffering from cancer but the hospice also cares for people with other conditions, such as heart disease, organ failure and neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis or motor neurone disease. At a time when family is so important, the hospice also support carers and families with social and family services, peer support groups and complementary therapies.
