Name: Drew Barrymore

Company: Flower Beauty

The numbers: Drew Barrymore’s net worth is $125 million, a combination of the films and series she stars in, as well as Flower Beauty and Flower Home, two of her well-known brands.

How did she do it? Drew launched Flower Beauty Cosmetics in 2013. She decided she wanted to develop a quality product sold as affordable prices. She signed an exclusive deal with Walmart to carry her line of beauty products all under $20 each. In 2017, Drew expanded Flower Beauty to Mexico and to Super Drug in the UK. Drew said it was a no-brainer to enter the beauty industry; being the co-creative director of her own campaign with CoverGirl she knew this was the next step.

One bright idea that helped the business grow: Drew stated that there is a necessity for positive messaging so that women feel empowered and not making themselves up to be something else. Her first tagline was ‘Love the Way You Look’. Drew wanted an accessible, affordable and fun brand for your face. She also wanted a brand that was real, free from the social media pressures of looking perfect.

Latest news: In October 2020, Flower Beauty launched a range of hair tools, their first ever non-makeup launch. The complete range is under £65!
