About Eleanor
I am a 2021 University of Liverpool Law LLB with Honours graduate and aspiring solicitor. During my time at University, I chose to tailor my learning towards subjects that aligned with my passions; Family and Child Law.
I represented the University in an International Children’s Rights Moot Court Competition hosted by Leiden University in the Netherlands, in which I debated a fictitious human and child rights scenario to a panel of senior legal academics from across the world.
I have also worked on projects with the University’s Law Clinic, including their Asylum & Immigration Statelessness Service, as well as being a board member of the Women Breaking Barriers Network; a group committed to inspiring and connecting future women leaders.
The majority of my work At McAlister Family Law involves acting on behalf of the Local Authority in childcare matters concerning neglect, non-accidental injury and domestic and substance abuse, most specifically within pre-proceedings and care proceedings. I also have experience representing parents within care proceedings before the Family Court.
I believe it is so important to ensure that societies most vulnerable people are given a voice and represented fairly, which is why I am so passionate about the work I undertake at McAlister Family Law.
